When the Tide Ran Out – New Literary Fiction

When the Tide Ran Out – New Literary Fiction. Here I am, Dear Readers, only a few days back from Poland and inundated with new stories. So, on with the show!

My latest short story, When the Tide Ran Out, has just been published by Sandstorm Journal. Sandstorm is a great online journal, and I’m throwing down a huge shout-out to the editors for all of their hard work. When the Tide Ran Out is the story of the invincibility of youth, life on the vagabond road, the passage of time, and a broken man’s view over the decades in between.

Stories in Threes…

When the Tide Ran Out is the third story in my New Orleans Trilogy. All of three of theses stories, along with other fine trilogies, will be published in an upcoming volume entitled Triptych Américas. Look for this new collection in the Fall of 2021.

More Stories Leaping From the Woodwork…

Speaking of woodwork, all these new stories are beating me with a knotty club. I was only two weeks in Poland, but in that time, four stories have gone live. This is but the third of them. Good readers, I’m swimming in a sea of words, and more are on the way. As a result, it goes without saying that you should stay tuned to the MEF posts and newsletter for updates and publishing announcements. Be well and safe, my wonderful readers!
