Two New Short Stories at Hotch Potch!

Two New Short Stories

I am thrilled to announce the publication of two new short stories in the premier issue of Hotch Potch Literature and Art! Yes folks, this is a first here at Marco Etheridge Fiction: A Literary Two-Fer! Two of my short stories, “Fado Valletta” and “Spiccato,” appear in the fine new ‘Zine Hotch Potch. I’m happier than a fat man in a pie-eating contest. So, without further ado, let’s get to it.

Fado Valletta

“Fado Valletta” tells a tale of love and sorrow, passion and loss. Every evening, a mysterious woman sings from her balcony. Local folks gather for this evening concert. But who is the woman in black? Decades before, a rough Maltese smuggler captured the heart of a beautiful Portuguese Fado singer, and she captured his in return. This is their story.

Spiccato

“Spiccato” is the story of a young girl raised to a young woman more by her violin rather than by her parents. She must break the limits set upon her by her parents, her peers, and her school.

Where can I read the Fado Valletta and Spiccato?
