My short story The Digger, just published by the lovely online ‘Zine Flora Fiction. The Digger tells the tale of an ex-convict, the Missouri farmland he has been torn from, and the ghosts left behind by his family. This is literary fiction in the time-honored tradition of Southern Gothic.
Flora Fiction is a great online ‘Zine. There is a section for new stories, where you’ll find my story The Digger. Just scroll on down the page a bit. There is also a complied magazine, complete with a handy flip-reader.

The New Year is well-on, My Lovely Readers, and things are getting lively. February is young and short, yet we’ve already seen an accepted poem, and a rash of new stories. You say editors want reality? I say, damn reality! We’re heading out into deep space for some classic Sci-Fi! We needed a bit of genre fiction! Let the editors can pick it apart and a pox on their bums! Stay tuned to the MEF blog for all the latest. What’s New In Marco’s World is here:
