Smackdown – Vibrant New Nonfiction

Smackdown – vibrant new nonfiction. My short nonfiction story Smackdown has just been published by the fine folks at Witcraft. Smackdown tells the tale of a young boy, his push scooter, and a treacherous set of gates. The genre is literary nonfiction.

Sure, everyone loves a FREE read. Without a doubt, Witcraft is chock-a-block with other literary treats. Their tagline says it all: Because not everything has to be serious. It goes without saying that I want you to read my story, but there’s lots more fun on offer. You can peruse their lineup at:

Theoretically Summer…

Here I am, only seventeen days from the Summer Solstice and not a drop of summer in sight. So it goes here in Northern Yurp. Nevertheless, cool weather does not stop the writing, and stories emerge from the drippy clouds. At the same time, submissions are going out, and replies rolling in. I harvest the usual bumper crop of rejections along with a few acceptances. With that in mind, look for more stories coming your way. Lots more stories! At least two more accepted stories are scheduled to go live this month. With any luck, summer heat will go live as well. Here’s to hoping.

That’s it, Lovely Readers! Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this latest story. Additionally, you can stay tuned for all the latest by following the MEF blog:
