If Then Else – New Short Fiction. My slipstream story If Then Else has just been published by Emerging Worlds. Meet Serena and Theo, a married couple caught between two alternating realities. Reality shifts based on a spoken word which triggers an If-Then-Else computer program. It’s pandemics one minute, giant toothy lizard-men the next.
Emerging Worlds is a great British online journal focusing on speculative fiction and Sci-Fi. Hats off and thanks to the editors for having faith in my story. I am honoured to be a part of this extremely cool British spec-fiction journal. And, speaking of hats off, let me give up a huge shout out to my good friend Iain Knight for his help with the computer coding language.
If Then Else is a free read at Emerging Worlds. Are you ready to read this great story? Sure you are! Just mash the big button and you will be whisked away to Emerging Worlds. Just like an If Then Else program that buggers your reality, the story will appear… voilà!
Read If Then ElseOr, if you’re button phobic, here is the direct link to the story. I hope you enjoy it every bit as much as the editors of Emerging Worlds.
