A Pushcart Nomination for Fermat and the Liar! My short story Fermat and the Liar has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize by the fine editors at Glassworks Magazine. Glassworks is a publication of Rowan University’s Master of Art in Writing program. I am thrilled to be recognized by this fine literary journal.
The main character is a compulsive liar, a man with many names and many identities. He weaves a web of deceit to escape his past. First and foremost, he cannot be seen for who he really is. As a result, the liar must be a chameleon, changing his colors to match the situation. But the past is a patient hunter. Despite all his clever deceits, his past proves to be inescapable.
For the entire month of January, Glassworks Magazine is featuring all of its Pushcart nominees, including Yours Truly . Are you ready to read this great story? Sure you are! Mash the big button and *Poof!* Let’s get to it!

Friends and Neighbors, we’re all playing together in one sandbox, and our sandbox ain’t that big. Fellow Citizens of the World, this life can be hard even without greedy bullies messing it up for everyone else. We don’t need war-mongering sonsofbitches making it harder than it has to be. So I’m here to tell you, Vladimir Putin can kiss my story-scribbling ass.
